摘要 SMC蛋白是新近发现的一种重要的染色体非组蛋白,研究发现SMC蛋白在大多数生物中普遍存在,而且SMC蛋白在有丝分裂染色体集缩中起着非常重要的作用。本文介绍了SMC蛋白的结构特点。并简要综述了SMC蛋白在有丝分裂染色体集缩中的作用的研究进展． SMC protein is an important chromosomal nonhistone that has been found recently. Studies have found that it almost exists in all kinds of organisms and it may play important roles in mitotic chromosome condensation. This paper introduced characteristic structure of SMC protein and briefly reviewed advances of SMC proteins involving in mitotic chromosome condensation .
