摘要
本文通过计算掺铒光纤极化率的实部确定其相移特性,计算发现E3+r粒子跃迁所带来的附加相移是光纤固有相移的10-6倍,大于其它非线性效应所产生的影响。根据其相移特性,我们还确定了它所引入的色散,结果发现这种附加色散随泵浦光功率的增加在1.53μm到1.
We analyze the phase shift in erbium doped fiber by calculating the real part of the susceptibility in it,and find out that the ratio of additional phase shift introduced by E 3+ r ion radiation to inherent phase shift of optical fiber is about 10 -6 ,which is greater than that of other nonlinear effects in fiber.According to the phase shift under different pump power,we also figure out the chromatic dispersion brought by them,and it is showed that this additional chromatic dispersion in the wavelength range of 1.53 μm to 1.59 μm varies from positive into negative along with the increase of pump power.
