The Predicament and Renaissance of Contemporary Chinese Philosophy

建国以来的中国哲学,可以认为是一部被人为地扭曲、损益的历史,自身存在着若干误区。从逻辑上说,当代中国哲学由于没有弄清诸如哲学的定义、哲学的研究对象、哲学的基础与核心等最基本问题而陷入严重的困境之中。当代中国哲学只有摆脱原有的错误研究对象和方法,把主体即能动的社会的人作为自己的理论基础与核心,才能构建真正的哲学,最终实现哲学的复兴。

Since the founding of PRC, Chinese philosophy has experienced a history of intentional distortion and detriment with some long-standing mistaken ideas. Logically, Chinese philosophy has landed itself in a predicament due to the philosophers＇ vague understanding of such fundamental issues as the definition of philosophy, its research subjects, foundations and nucleus and so on. The long-standing wrong research objects and methodology should be corrected and active social individuals be positioned as the research subject and the theoretical foundations and nucleus of philosophy Only in this way can Chinese philosophy usher in its renaissance and liberation.
