摘要
杜尚的审美观彻底超越了传统的美学观念。杜尚对传统审美观的“守”体现在继承性、与经济文化适应性上,对传统审美观的“破”则体现在创造性、开放性上。就继承性、与经济文化适应性而言,杜尚的非理性主义艺术仍然包含了西方传统的理性主义因素,是对当时西方极端理性主义的一种反拨,代表了时代;就创造性、开放性而言,杜尚的艺术与生活颠覆了传统的美学观念,打破了艺术与非艺术、艺术与生活的界限,也表明:艺术本身是一个流变、开放的体系,是没办法穷尽的。
Duchamp's esthetic conceptions completely surmounted traditional esthetics. He embodied in succession both the "keep" of the traditional esthetic conceptions in his adaptation to cultural and economic conditions, and the "break" of the traditional esthetic conceptions in his creativity and openness. As to his inheritance, his irrationalist art contains traditional Western rationalism reacting against the ultrarationalism of the time. As to his creativity and openness, his art and life subverted traditional esthetics, breaking the demarcation between art and non-art, and between art and life, and indicated that art itself is a ehanging and open system whieh cannot be exhausted.
