Application Study of Electro-optic Effect of Liquid Crystals

摘要 应用液晶电光效应设计的两种特殊的光学器件——液晶光快门和液晶透镜.阐述了它们的设计原理及结构特点.液晶光学器件的优点是:用低电压和低功耗就能大幅度的改变其光学性质;无须整形加工;廉价且制作简易.因此应用前景广泛. Two special optical devices LC-opticl gate and LC-lens are introduced, and their design philosophy and structures are descibed. Advantages of the optical devices are that their optical pripecties can be changed greatly by lower voltage and lower power with low cost and easy man facture.
