摘要
面对“老外”的“口出粗话”,现场口译人员如何应对?首先应理性地认识到英语粗话存在的客观性,然后了解其来源、作用与翻译方法,最后根据现场的情景灵活翻译。只有如此,才能胜任现场口译工作。
English expletives can be nightmares for on-site interpreters. The present author discusses the strategies that can be used in dealing with them.
