广东区域发展竞争力:基于因子分析法的不同经济体比较

Regional Development Competitiveness of Guangdong:Different Economic Entities Comparison Based on Factor Analysis

从不同发展阶段的经济体中选取了美国、日本、巴西、俄罗斯、新加坡、中国香港、韩国七个经济体作为广东的比较对象,在包含了七个方面、58个指标的区域发展竞争力评价指标体系的基础上,采用2004年的截面数据,利用因子分析法比较各个经济体区域发展竞争力的差异,结果表明:广东区域发展的整体竞争力排名第五、表现竞争力排名第四,但潜力竞争力却低于其它七个经济体,排名第八。

Seven economic entities-USA, Japan, Brazil, Russia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Korea-are selected to make comparisons with Guangdong province respectively in terms of the regional develop- ment competitiveness. Through employing 58 indexes from seven aspects as the assessment system and factor analysis based on the statistical data in 2004. The results show that：the region development competition of Guangdong is placed fifth, its reality competition is placed fourth, however, its potential competition is placed lower than other seven economic entities, row eighth.
