By studying the central axis of ancient capital, this article sums up its concept component elements, meanwhile, analyzes the shortage of present conservation methods, and discusses the plan principle, methods and practical measure. Furthermore, the article proposes the concept of ＂Diamond conservation network of historic axis sites＂, and emphasizes the protection method of the nonmaterial factor and implemented actions in the conservation of the historic axis sites.
