新写实小说和新纪录电影比较属于跨文本比较研究。其比较研究的意义在于揭示,20世纪80年代后期到90年代前期两类文本受共同的思想潮流的驱动,在共同的表达原则的支配下,运用不同的表达途径关注形态近似的人物及其生活,反映出共通的批判意识和情感倾向。
