In the context of the practice in constructing scour bottom outlet and intake tower of power tunnel of NO.2 Fenhe Reservoir, this paper introduces the construction technique of electric dregs pressure welding for joining vertical reinforcement, and expounds how this technique can raise work efficiency to ensure construction progress and the demand of engineering quality.
