The research perspective of evolution theory of enterprise is completely different from the modern enterprise theory. Based on an analysis of defects of the main-stream enterprise theories, we penetrate into the cognitive basis of evolution theory of enterprise, its source of thought and its insight into core problem of enterprise, this paper reveals not only the far-reaching influence of evolution theory of enterprise on main-stream enterprise theories, but also the challenge that evolution theory of enterprise faces.
