公民意识是社会和谐、公正的关键,而当前中国公民意识的现状与建设和谐社会的要求相比还存在较大的差距,因此要把公民意识的培育作为公民教育的重要内容,以推动社会文明程度的整体提高,为构建和谐社会作出积极贡献。

The citizen consciousness is a key factor of a harmonious and fair society, but there is still a big gap between the present condition of current Chinese citizen consciousness and the demand of constructing a harmonious society, so it is important to cultivate the citizen consciousness. Only by doing this can we wholly promote the social civilization degree and contribute to reconstruting a harmonious society.
