论佛源外来词世俗化的过程

On Steps of Buddhism-Words’ Secularization

东汉时期佛教开始传入中土,在佛教逐步由印度佛教发展成为中国佛教的大背景下,大量佛源外来词被译借到汉语中,并逐步成为汉语词汇的组成部分。我们称这一过程为佛源外来词的汉化;汉化过程中,佛源外来词必然经历由佛教词语渐渐被世俗生活接受的过程,可以认为,佛源外来词的世俗化是佛源外来词汉化的重要步骤,一般经历了由教内到世俗、增加世俗生活意义、完全进入世俗生活以至迷失佛源等步骤。具体一个佛源外来词世俗化往往是几种情况互相交织的。

From Dong-han dynasty, Buddhism works begin to be translated into Chinese.With the course of Buddhism becoming Chinese religions, Lots Buddhistic words from Indian or the West-Regions （西域）are borrowed into Chinese language and become a part of Chinese-vocabulary step by step. This course will be called Buddhism-words＇ Chineselization .On this course there must be a step that the Buddhistic words from Indian or the West-Regions （西域） were used into com-mon lives and secularized,those Buddhistic words aways go though being borrwed into common lives,gaining secular meanings and losing Buddhistic senses,etc.A Buddhism-Word would change into common lives by not only one step but all steps like above also.
