Research on the Development of New Material Industry in Ningbo

宁波新材料产业有着良好的产业基础、显著的区域特色、比较合理的产业组织结构及较为完善的产业创新体系等优势,但同时也存在着土地短缺、劳动力成本上升、产业集中度不高、产品附加值低、人才匮乏以及自主创新能力不强等不利因素。应从强化规划导向、建立自主创新体系、健全法制环境以及培育产业投融资体系四个方面促进宁波新材料产业的发展。

There are some advantages such as well industrial basis, prominent feature, relatively reasonable organizational structure of industry, and comparatively perfect innovative system of industry in new material industry of Ningbo. On the other hand, there are some disadvantages such as lack of land, labor cost increasing, low industrial intensity, low product value-added, scarce talents, and weak endogenous innovative capability in the industry. To promote the development of the industry, four aspects including strengthening planning oriented, building endogenous innovative system, perfecting legal environment and cultivating industrial investment and financing system are proposed.
