“9·11”事件后,布什政府大幅度调整其中东政策。调整后的政策给美国制造了许多困难和挫折,遭到广泛的批评和抵制,使关在中东陷入困境。为摆脱困境,布什政府被迫再次调整政策,但又进退两难,找不到两全之策。

The Bush Administration drastically adjusted its policy towards Middle East in the wake of 9/11.Such a policy,which brought about innumerable difficulties and setbacks for the U.S.,has encountered profound criticism and resistance,and put the U.S.in plight in Middle East.In order to get out the plight,the Bush Administration has to make further adjustment to its policies,only to find it in dilemma and no way out.
