社会主义意识形态作为构建和谐社会的思想基础是由它的导向功能、教育功能和服务功能决定的。夯实和谐社会的思想基础,必须巩固马克思主义在思想领域的指导地位,培养人文精神,弘扬和培育伟大的民族精神。
