跨文化交际中的语用失误

在跨文化交际活动中,往往出现文化语用失误(pragmaticfailure),原因是在跨文化交际活动中,双方对彼此的社会文化传统缺乏了解,人们总是习惯于用自己的说话方式来解释对方的话语,而事实上不同的文化背景下人们说话方式或习惯不尽相同,从而影响有效的交际,导致交际失败,本文着重分析了语用失误的原因。

During inter-cultural communication,people from different parts of the world would easily get some misunderstandings which are called cross-cultural pragmatic failures.Generally speaking,pragmatic failures exit in our lives very often such as using Chinese-English,understanding the literal meaning of sentence while ignoring its real meaning,using improper expressions in cross-culture communications and etc.This paper would focus on the causes of the pragmatic failures in cross-cultural communication.
