我国现代大学精神的主要内容是求真务实与创新、民主开放与包容、德法兼治与公允。培育现代大学精神与党的先进性要求在本质上是一致的,在实际工作中,应努力实现现代大学精神与构建党的先进性教育长效机制的有效交融。

The main content of the spirit of modern universities in China is both to be down-to-earth and to be innovative. Democracy, opening-up, assimilation, the rule of law and justice are the things that modern universities must pursue. The cultivation of the spirit of modern universities is the same as the requirements of the advanced nature of the CPC in essence. So in practice, we should try hard to combine effectively the spirit of modern universities with the building of the long term effective mechanism of the education of the advanced nature of the CPC.
