对３２３只２～１４月龄的鸡用新城疫Ⅰ系活疫苗混在饲料中经口服进行加强免疫，这些鸡在７日龄时曾以Ⅱ系活疫苗接种过。加强免疫前，ＨＩ滴度已降到２４以下，加强免疫后３０天，ＨＩ滴度升至２５，６０天后达到顶峰，１２０天开始下降，至１９０天时为２４，到２１０天时仍保存着一些免疫力。根据这次试验，作者认为口服剂量应为注射免疫剂量的２．５～３倍。

chickens aged 2-14 monthes old were boostly vaccinated per os with live newcastle disease virus (NDV) vaccine strain Mukteswar mixied in food.All of these chickens had been vaccinated at 7 days old with the NDV B1 vaccine and their HI antibody titers had fellen under 2 4 just before the boost vaccination.30 days after the boost vaccination the HI titers increased to 2 5.60 days after attained the peak level,120 days after begin decreased and 190 days after the 2 4. Some immunity remained still even at the 210th day after.On the basis this trial the authors suggested that the optimum dose of vaccine for oral vaccination is about as much 2.5￣3 times as that used for injection.
