Yb^3+掺杂氟磷玻璃光谱激光性能研究

摘要 采用高温熔融法制备了一种新的Yb^3+掺杂氟磷玻璃(AFG),测量了该玻璃的折射率nd(1.5705)及Yb^3+离子0v5龙能级的荧光寿命rf(1.80ms),测试了它的吸收光谱、荧光光谱及析晶稳定性能,应用倒易法计算了Yb3’的受激发射截面可达0.928pm^2,增益系数可达1.6704pm^2·ms。得到了较为理想的激光性能参数:激发态最小粒子数为0.1941,饱和抽运强度为6.1975kW/cm^2,最小抽运强度为1.2029kW/cm^2。研究结果表明该AFG玻璃的部分光谱激光性能优于其他Yb^3+掺杂基质玻璃,是实现超短脉冲激光输出的优良基质材料。 A new kind of Yb^3+ -doped fluorophosphate glass(AFG) is prepared at high temperature, the refractive index of the glass( nd = 1. 570 5) and the lifetime of ^2F5/2 ( rf = 1.80 ms) are measured, also we tested the absorption spectrum,fluorescence spectrum and the crystallization stability, the emission cross section (0. 928 pm2) of Yb^3+ is calculated based on reciprocity theory, and the gain coefficient is estimated to be 1. 670 4 pm^2 ·ms. The laser properties of Yb^3+in AFG glass is well evaluated: excited state minimum populations is 0. 194 1, pump saturation intensity is 6. 197 5 kw/cm^2, minimum pump intensity is 1. 202 9 kw/cm^2. It is found that some spectroscopic and lasing properties of AFG glass are better than other Yb^3+-doped glasses, and it is a good candidate for ultra short pulses.
