The trend of interest rate is related to the future of current capitalist society. Since the 1990s, a de- bate on the question that the interest rate is going up or going down as Marx said had opened and been kept going on. This article introduces and commends the different viewpoints either from the school who thinks the rate is going up or from the school who thinks it is going down.
