摘要
用电子自旋共振(ESR)法测定了陕西省大荔县红河砂砾层中象牙化石的年龄[(1.6±0.2)×10~5a],证实了只有象牙化石的珐琅部分才是测定年龄的合适对象,并讨论了作为ESR信号来源的陷阱电子的热稳定性及平均寿命。
By using the new dating technique of ESR, the age of the elephant tooth hasbeen estimated to be (1.6±0.2)×10~5a. It was shown that only the enamel in toothfossil is suitable to be datable by ESR. The tooth fossil to be investigated was foundin a gravel deposit from Yue Hong river of Da Li county at Shanxi province. China.The thermal stability and mean-lifetime of trapped electrons at g=2.002 0 werealso discussed.
