从电磁场理论菲涅尔公式出发,分析并得到半波损失产生的条件.指出只有在垂直入射和掠入射两种情况下,从光疏媒质入射到光密媒质界面时,反射光具有半波损失.对一般斜入射讨论半波损失的概念没有任何意义.

The condition of half-wave losing is analyzed form the Fennel＇s formulae in electromagnetic field theory. It is pointed out that when light travels in a medium of lower refractive vertically or parallelly into a medium of higher refractive, the reflected light occurs half-wave losing. The concept of half wavelength lossing is not suitable for the inclined incident light.
