An Analysis of Neologism Translation

文中提出新词术语翻译的四种主要途径和问题,认为不管使用哪种译法,正确理解原义是关键,要求译者除具有两种或两种以上语言、文化的知识修养外,还应掌握一定的专业知识。

In this article, four approaches have been put forward concerning neologism translation. It is believed that, no matter what kind of method is used, what matters is the understanding of the original meaning of the source language. Translators are expected to be capable of more than two languages, culturallearning as well as professional knowledge.
