On the Political Value of Harmonious Society——Thoughts on Chinese Traditional Ethics

中国传统伦理思想一直保有对社会和谐的诉求,其中也有不少具体思想和方法的阐述。当前中国的和谐社会建设可以批判性地借鉴这些思想,从政治秩序、政治制度、政治思想和政治诉求四个方面塑造出崭新的政治价值观。

China has maintained demands for traditional ethics of harmonious society, which also has many specific elaborations of ideas and methods. Now China can learn from these ideas while building a harmonious society. We can foster new political values from such four aspects as political order,political system, political ideology and political aspirations.
