摘要 从传播学的角度来考察公共关系研究,可以清楚地了解其研究的现状、特点、知识体系及其局限。公共关系将不再只是传统意义上的源于大众传播、定位于组织传播、正转向人际传播的应用传播学,恰恰相反,在关系传播的定位下,公共关系将有可能以“元传播”的身份,反过来为传播学提供理论支撑,这将预示着公共关系学科地位的巨大转变和提升。 The purpose of this article was to explore academic origin of communication ascription of Public Relations. Along developing trace of Public Relations which was derived from mass communication, positioned on organization communication, then transferred to interpersonal "communication and will ascribe to relational communication, Author separately discussed the current status, feature, body of knowledge and their research limitation of Public Relations, the concept and model of relational ecology field was developed. Comparatively, the former three ascription have followed linear research model of traditional major communication science, which focus on tactical and effective research from different level of information, culture and emotion, meanwhile, communication and relationship were individually researched., therefore, the body of knowledge of communication science is hard to develop as a whole. Author argued that Public Relations should be built on the base of relational communication theories and emphasized the identity of meta-communication, In doing so, Public Relations can overcome the limitation of linear research, and promote the status of discipline of public relation in communication science,
