This paper introduced operating experience in using YZ- 100 - 1 silicon controlled rectifier medium frequency electronic furnace, which can melt 150 kg steel. Early, silicon controlled rectifiers and other electronic devices used to be burnt. By experiences being accumulated and research work being carried out for many years, characters of general faults and elimination methods are known. The electronic furnace operation is kept as its designer.
