This paper introduces in detail the main factors influencing the abrasive resistance of the knitted fabric including the mechanical properties and configuration of the employed fibers,yarn structure,knit pattern and the post finishing and processing. In terms of these factors,this paper puts forward some approaches for improving the abrasive resistance of the knitted car-used seat-cover fabric,which provides a valuable reference for development of even much better knitted car-used seat-cover fabrics.
