摘要
隐喻不仅仅是一种修辞手段,它还是一种认知思维方式。隐喻承载了大量的民族文化内涵,所以各民族的隐喻方式不同。我们对于世界的感知和解释影响了特定的隐喻模式,特定的隐喻又以特定的模式影响我们对于世界的感知和解释。理解隐喻性话语的关键就是在隐喻性话语与认知语境之间寻求最佳关联。隐喻的民族性折射出其认知性特点,因而可以运用认知语言学知识进行深入阐释。
Metaphor is not only a rhetorical means but also a cognitive thinking mode. Bearing much connotation of national culture, the styles of metaphor in each and every nation are different. What we apperceive and interpret the world will affect the particular style of a metaphor and vice versa. The key to understanding metaphorical utterance is to find the optimum relevance between metaphorical utterance and its cognitive context. The nationality of metaphor refracts the characteristic of cognition, and we can elucidate it thoroughly utilizing the knowledge of cognitive language.
