Education Fairness——a Foundation of the Construction of Harmonious Socialist Society

接受教育,是一个人健康发展的重要基础,是每一个公民最基本的权利。但我们在呼吁以人为本、构建社会主义和谐社会的今天,种种教育不公平的现象,令人震撼,发人深思,成为我国当前亟待解决的问题。本文在理解教育公平内涵的基础上揭示我国当前较为突出的教育公平问题,并对在构建社会主义和谐社会的进程中如何实现教育公平做出几点思考。

As an important basis for one＇s healthy development, receiving education is a basic right of each citizen. While we are appealing humanism and constructing a harmonious socialist society, diverse phenomenon of unfair education, which shock us and call for our deep thoughts, pose as an urgent problem to be solved. Based on understanding of the connotation of education fairness, this essay reveals the most prominent problems which exists in China＇s education and puts forward some counter policies.
