方言是语言的地方变体,萍乡方言虽然只在萍乡地区通行,但本身却也有一种完整的系统。萍乡方言的研究,意义重大。本文是萍乡方言研究系列论文之一,在未涉及萍乡方言之前先对萍乡的地理概况与历史沿革做一简单介绍。

Dialect is the local variant of language, Though Pingxiang dialect is just used in Pingxiang area, it has an entire system. The research on Pingxiang dialect has great significance. This paper introduces the geographical feature and history evolution of Pingixang City simply prior to studying Pingxiang dialect.
