摘要
传统语法和生成语法认为，英语中的“It is nice to see you＇’这一结构是由“To see you is nice”通过结构成分的外置而形成的，因而被称作外位结构。在系统功能语言学领域。这一结构被称作评价型强势主位结构。这一结构将评价意义呈现为主位焦点，不但强化了评价意义。而且为态度意义的表达提供了磋商余地。从信息组织的角度看，评价型强势主位结构符合信息组织的末端重量原则：同时，这一结构将评价意义主位化，从而使评价意义成为信息组织的出发点。
In traditional grammar and generative grammar, the construction ＂It is nice to see you＂ is transformed from ＂To see you is nice＂ through extraposition, and is thus called extraposed construction. In systemic functional linguistics, this structure is called evaluative enhanced thematic construction. It presents evaluative meaning as thematic focus, and in so doing not only highlights evaluative meaning, but also provides a variety of ways of negotiating attitudinal meaning. The evaluative enhanced thematic construction also helps create end-weight and enables the evaluative meaning to become the point of departure in the structuring of information.
