Research on the Fabrication of Polarization Maintaining Coupler Using BISPEC Fiber

设计新颖的ＢＩＳＰＥＣ（ＢｉｒｅｆｒｉｎｇｅｎｔＳｐｌｉｔｔａｂｌｅＣｏｍｐｏｓｉｔｅ）光纤可避免偏振轴对准技术难点，研制成功高性能保偏光纤耦合器，偏振串扰小于－２５ｄＢ。

A new BISPEC(Birefringent Splittable Composite) fiber has been designed and high performance polarization maintaining fiber couplers are fabricated using this kind of fiber.Thereby,the hard nut for polarization axes alignment is avoided.The polarization crosstalk is less than -25dB.
