A Brief Review on Library Construction and Library Humanistic Spirit

自20世纪90年代以来,我国社会主义市场经济的发展,使人的个性化对传统道德规范的冲击渐趋明朗,在现代社会里,人文精神将成为人自身和社会充分、全面、健康发展的必要条件和内在动力。图书馆作为读者信息需求的场所,以信息资源建设作主要内容,更应该立足于当代社会现实,以“一切为了方便读者”为图书馆管理的出发点,把图书馆建设与人文精神相联系,突出图书馆的人文精神,即图书馆的人性化,体现人的个性化,人的全面发展,人性的真善美。

There is a close relationship between library and humanistic spirit. It can not be substituted in carrying forward the humanistic spirit. We should try our best to use every kind of the advanced technical equipment and method while fully display the library humanistic spirit, realize human value, create beautiful and harmonious humanistic environment to reach the ideal target of building the modem library. To construct human spirit of library, we should have the idea to focus on readers, strengthen the function of service, and create the nice human circumstance.
