A Brief Review of the Circumstances of Intellectual Writing Based on Poet Xi Chuan

“知识分子写作”与“民间写作”是20世纪90年代发生在中国诗坛上的代表性事件,通过审视“知识分子写作”与“民间写作”的论争可以从中了解中国当代诗歌的发展走向。通过分析和总结“知识分子写作”的代表人物西川创作中的美学特征及其成就与缺憾,并以此为例探讨“知识分子写作”对中国诗歌发展的意义,以及这一流派所面临的问题和困境。

＂Intellectual Writing Schools＂ have their unique aesthetic preference and poetic pursuits in 1990＇ s. We can understand the development of Chinese contemporary poesy from the argument between intellectual writing and folk position. This article analyses the aesthetics property, achievements and insufficiency of Xi Chuan＇ s works, which is the representative poet of intellectual writing school. Based on the example, the significance of intellectual writing contributing to the developmental of Chinese poesy is discussed in this paper. The problems and troubles of this genre confronted are also put forward in this article.
