Based on the investigation of an overturned standing advertisement board with single column and the similar advertisement board, the structural safety problem of advertisement board and evaluation of foundation of standing advertisement board with single column is discussed. It is hoped to bring safety of standing advertisement board into public notice and to be useful to safety evaluation.
