汉字是汉民族文化的载体,它的形体构造与演变过程记载了华夏先民观察探索客观世界及其自身的思维成果和心智轨迹。通过分析汉字的本体结构和发生系统,对《说文解字.木部》进行文化学考察,揭示了木文化在中国古代日常生活、农业种植、房屋建筑、军事刑罚、祭祀丧葬等方面的表现。

The Chinese character is Chinese ethnic culture carrier. Its physique structure and successional variation process have recorded the thought achievement and the mental way in which the Chinese ancients observed and explored objective and subjective world. This paper relies on the analysis on Chinese character main body and original system, to carry on the cultural science inspection to Paraphrasing Texts and Words （ Shuo Wen Jie Zi） ＂wood department＂ （Mu Bu） character, and promulgates the wooden culture in daily life, agricultural planter, house construction, military and penalty, sacrificial offering funeral and so on in China＇s ancient times.
