Obligations & Imbalances from Media Coverage to Under-privileged Groups

社会弱势群体在政治、经济和文化资源方面处于劣势,同样,在享有新闻传播资源方面处于劣势地位,缺乏表达自己利益和权利的话语权,在社会发展中缺乏声音而被忽视。社会弱势群体如果利益长期得不到重视,缺乏有效的利益诉求平台和信息传播渠道,心理会极不平衡,“仇富”等现象会应运而生,社会矛盾激化。新闻媒介应公平分配传媒资源,发挥为弱势群体诉求利益的作用,促进社会矛盾的及时解决。

Under-privileged groups are disadvantageous in politics, economics, culture resources as well as in media. A longterm overlook and absence of their say result in psychological imbalance and hatred to the rich. Fair media are conducive to conflict settlement.
