从《齐物论》看“天籁”的原初意义

在古、今汉语中,“天籁”一词都很常见。人们或用以指称自然界和谐美妙的声响,或用以形容来自于人的悦耳动听的声音、音乐或自然天成的文学作品,用法和意义都很明晰、确定。但若追根溯源,即把“天籁”一词放回其所出自的文本《庄子·齐物论》中,则会发现,其原初的意义和后来的应用义之间竟存在着巨大的差异。

In ancient and modem Chinese, sounds of nature always mean the sounds which are harmonious in nature or music which is very interesting or pleasant to ears. But when people trace to the source, they will find that there is difference between the original meaning and what it means now.
