A Review on the Authority of The Table of Gauging the Pronunciation of the Alternative Pronounced Words of Chinese Mandarin

从权威辞书、一般辞书、新闻媒体、广大群众等几个方面考察分析《普通话异读词审音表》遭遇的问题,发现很多辞书和新闻工作者有法不依。同时,《普通话异读词审音表》也要与时俱进,及时修订,以满足广大群众的需要。

This article discusses the awkwardness that The Table of Gauging the Pronunciation of the Alternative Pronounced Words of Chinese Mandarin encountered from the aspects of authorized dictionaries, general dictionaries, the media and the public. On the one hand, it is shown that many dictionaries, books, and journalists do not observe the rules of the authorized gauged book. On the other hand, it is also indicated that the authorized gauged book needs to be properly amended in order to satisfy the demands of studying the Chinese mandarin by the public.
