高职院校专业英语教学定位的思考

On the Position of English Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges

高职英语教学一直以来追随本科院校的模式,造成了专业特色不明显,教学目标模糊等一系列问题。高职英语教学应在吸取各方经验的基础上,认清英语在学生职业生涯过程中“辅助工具”的特征,形成自己的特色。

Major English teaching plays an important role in high vocational school. It has followed the suit of English teaching in grad uate college for a long time. This results in its unclear major characteristic and vague teaching aim. Major English teaching of high vocational school should form its own character based on the experience of different schools and the ＂tool＂ character of English.
