浅析中西方文化差异对翻译的影响

Effect of the cultural differences between east and west on translation

翻译讲究的是“信”、“达”、“雅”,这是在了解两个民族文化背景的基础上才能实现的。汉语与英语都是承载着浓厚文化底蕴的语言,只有将翻译与文化自然融合,才能达到民族间的真正交流。笔者试从中西方国家不同的文化内涵、生活方式、认知思维方式以及价值观等角度入手,指出翻译过程中应注意的文化问题。

Translation studies .faithfulness, expressiveness and taste＂, this comes true on the basis of knowing two national culture background. Chinese and English are two languages bearing the weight of strong culture, the real communication between nationalities can be achieved only if the translation and culture are combined naturally. The author tries to point out cultural problems in translation process from different cultural connotation, life-style, mode of cognition and thinking, outlook on values etc.
