重庆都市旅游资源丰富,自然、历史、社会及人文等条件十分优越,拥有独特的巴渝文化、抗战陪都文化、饮食文化和码头文化,而且是中国乃至世界著名的雾都,具有开展都市旅游得天独厚的条件。并且重庆市政府十分重视开发和建设山城都市旅游,并相继出台了一些政策措施,鼓励大力发展山城都市旅游,努力把重庆都市旅游建设成为特色鲜明、国内外知名的旅游目的地,都市旅游产业规模基本形成。

Chongqing possesses rich urban tourism resources and has the unique natural,historlcal and social tourism conditions. It also has distinctive cultures such as Bayu culture,culture of alternate capital during the Anti-Japanese War,food culture and dock culture and is a famous foggy city in China and in the world. Furthermore, its municipal government emphasizes the development of urban tourism in this mountainous city and has issued a series of policies to encourage the development of urban tourism in the city,making great efforts to develop Chongqing into a well-known urban tourist destination with unique characteristics at home and abroad and to form foundational scale of the urban tourism industry.
