Discussion on inheritance and innovation of Chinese jade creation

回顾了中国玉器的漫长发展历程,深入分析了各个历史阶段中国玉器的主要特征及其在传统基础上的创新和发展过程。研究认为,中国玉器所历经的几个发展鼎盛时期都是与继承传统基础上的创新分不开的。因此,必须要从思想认识、个人从业素质、包括艺术修养、技能培训、经营方式等方面都立足于传统基础上的创新和发展。才能不断创造中国玉器的新的辉煌。

The long developing history of Chinese jadeware was reviewed with a focus on the main characteristics of Chinese jadeware and its innovation based on tradition. The study shows that several prosperous stages in the developing process of Chinese jadeware were associated with the innovation through the inheriting of the tradition. Therefore, new prosperousness could not be realized without innovation and development based on tradition from all aspects including ideological recognition, personal makings of the workers, training and management, etc.
