Problems and Countermoves in Integrating the Information about Continuous Pub-lications in Chinese before Liberation

1949年以前出版的中文连续出版物的信息整合工作主要有以下4个方面的内容:1.文献的界定与普查。将影印版与实际出版的文献分开,主要是对实际出版的文献进行信息资源整合。2.文献资源的清理和保护。要集中收藏、集中管理。3.文献信息资源的搜集。用工作单的形式按种进行登记,将出版信息及其它文献特征进行排查和搜集。4.文献信息资源的整合与著录。按照《GB3792.3—85连续出版物著录规则》和CNMARC的制作标准进行整合与著录。

There are following four respects of the work of integrating the information about continuous publications in Chinese before 1949： 1.The definition and survey of the documents of continuous publications. To separate the continuous publications in Chinese from photocopies and real publications, what important is integrating the information of the real published documents.2.The clear and protection of the documents. Centralized collection and management is wanted.3.The search for the information of the documents of continuous publications. Register according to the varieties in the form of the working list. Remove, examine and collect the published information and other features of the documents.4.The integration and recording of the information of the documents of the continuous publications. Integrate and record according to 〈GB3792.3-85The Rules of Recording the Continuous Publications〉 and CNMARC.
