Some simulation test devices for studying the combustion process of internal -combustion engine （constant volume combustion bombs and multifunction combustion bombs） and single cylinder testing engines are introduced. Analysis focused on their working principle, structure and characteristics. It offered references for improving the test devices, which can be used to study engine＇s combustion process and improve combustion characteristics.
