Bounday and Communication:An Study on the Relationship Between Nationalities in a Transition Zone of Plateau

民族关系处于一个互动和变化的过程中,它不仅随着时代的发展而发生新的变化,而且由于各民族在历史发展、地理分布、经济生活和社会文化等方面存在的差异而表现出不同的内容、形式和特点。本文通过甘肃省甘南藏族自治州这一高原过渡地带民族关系若干变量的考察研究,提供了一个多民族国家中民族关系的地方性个案,展示了历史和现实中影响民族关系的多种可能性因素。

The relationship between nationalities is in the process of interaction and variation. With the development of the times, new changes have taken place in the relationship. Meanwhile, different enthnic groups are conveyed in different contents, forms and characteristics ,which is resulted from the difference in historical development, geographic distribution, economic life and social culture. This paper studies the several variables of the relationship between nationalities in Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Gansu Province, a transition zone of plateau. In addition, it provides a local case about the relationship between nationalities in a multi - ethnic country and displays kinds of possible factors that may influence the relationshis between nationalities in history and reality.
