To disassemble and assemble the head sheave of belt cooling machine with 36m^2,because the heigh of suspending was required,in traditionally,40t automobile crane were used.A method which is simple and easy to do was presented.8t automobile crane is used,instead of 40t one,to disassemble and as- semble.The direct and indirect cost for being tested and repaired are saved greatly.
