Great Devotion to Shu Brocade （Foreword）

蜀锦是我国极负盛名的四大名锦之一，是中国乃至世界染织史上延续时间最长、影响最大的民族传统工艺产品；蜀锦又是川蜀的一个千古名牌，是成都的一张响亮的名片。成都历来是我国蜀锦生产和商贸的中心，因为织锦业发达，在汉代即以“锦城”、“锦官城”闻名天下。

Shu Brocade is one of four famous brocades in China, and the Shu Brocade traditional technol- ogy has the longest duration and biggest influence on dyeing and weaving industrial history in China and even in the world. Shu Brocade is also an eternal famous brand for Sichuan Province and a resonant visiting card for Chengdu.
