白鳍豚Meta种群灭绝原因及保护措施

THE CAUSES OF EXTINCTION OF CHINESE RIVER DOLPHIN'S META POPULATION AND PROTECTIVE MEASURES

白鳍豚是我国长江流域特有的珍稀动物。在过去的几十年里,白鳍豚的数量在急剧减少,目前已经濒临灭绝。本文试从生物学的角度,探讨其Meta种群灭绝的原因和现有保护措施存在的问题,并提出了在长江中、下游大回水区建立自然保护区网的设想。

Chinese River Dolphin is a specific species of rare and valuable animal in the Changjiang drainage area. In the past few decades, its amount has been sharply decreased and now it is close to extinction. This paper studies the causes of its extinction of Meta population from the perspective of biology, analyses the problems of present protective measures and gives the suggestion to set up a natural protected area network in large backwater zones of middle and lower reaches of the Changjiang River.
